Looks tidy that mate. Depos are on my to-do list. Oem xenons just seem too much money and messing about.

What bulbs are you using? And how do you find the beam?

Cheers. I'm using Philips Xenon look bulbs. £30 a pair I'm sure they were.
Beam pattern I can't comment on as yet because it's only been driven in daylight.

Wee updates. Bought Porsche oil and coolant caps so fitted them, then a Ramair oversize intake came up cheap so bought that. 90mm diamter compared to the average 75mm apparently. All I know is that it was cheap enough and they get decent reviews so worth a punt.
I'll probably modify and refit my engine cover - TFSI is an ugly lump!

That is one tidy example mate. Love my ED30 some very nice understated mods you've done so far. I've recently brought a matte black rear badge but not sure on fitment like what you've done with urs

Cheers pal. Are you going to colour code behind the rear emblem too?

If it's two piece  the badge I brought is single

Currently I have inserts on original badge

But the new badge above looks too small to replace whole badge it's 100mm ?

It's hard to say, bud. You measured the old and new?

Re: Reflex Silver Edition 30 - engine cover painted

So after fitting my intake I didn't like how the bay was looking so set about cutting down my engine cover to get it back on.
Seperated and thoroughly degreased

Then cut it down and put it back together

Good wipe down with paint prep wipes and 2 coats of plastic primer

Then painted the cover Reflex Silver and the centre gloss black

Cover took 3 coats and centre 4. Got the centre snapped back on after drying overnight and chucked it on today

Cheers for lookin'!

Excellent work mate. If and when I get round to fitting an intake I'll come back to this thread for reference.

Very neat and tidy

Cheers! Wasn't overly time consuming.
Letting the paint dry between coats and before fitting took the longest.
