Hi
I haven't posted on here for a while but I could do with any advice you guys can give me.
I currently have an S3 8V (previously on here with my Eddy and MK6R) and engine light came on the other day and scan revealed coolant temp sensor fault so replaced that and after driving about for a bit re scanned and same fault code again. No engine light this time. The other thing that is a bit of a worry is the oil temp gauge on dash rises to 85 degrees after a 15 min drive but then slowly decreases to 70 and pretty much just sits at 70 until you turn car off. Oil and coolant levels fine. Nearest Audi garage is a bit of a trek away and as The wife and I both work would be a bit of a mission to get the car there. Any other parts/sensors it could be? Not sure if I have put this post in the correct section sorry if not.

Thanks in advance Chris

Thermostat?. I know the tfsi have two sensors but most common failure are either the sensor or main stat.

I had heard of the thermostat being a possibility prob worth changing. Can anyone find a link or are they straight from Audi/VW?

I'd definitely go vw or TPS if you have one as tps are suppliers for vw audi group.
