Yeah done a few of the golfs headlights, quite common for them to fade.

Make sure you keep them waxed or sealed, or use something like cquartz DLUX.
I watched a video on YouTube mate he wet and dried them then lacquered them with clear non yellowing laquer and then you don't need to seal them or wax them any more so hopefully won't need to do it anymore

The problem is most headlights are not lacquered so to speak they do have a protective coating on but this is not ordinary spray paint lacquer its more like a gel coat and its a uv protective layer.

Id rather stick with dlux or a wax/sealant because when (not if) you get stonechips on your headlights it will chip and peel like lacquer on a poorly painted bodypanel and will yellow again.

Quick little mod, not much but debadged the boot and in my personal opinion looks so much cleaner. Can't wait till after Xmas so the real mods can start. bloody kids who would have them could have my car the way I want it if it wasn't for Xmas  :fighting:

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

I usually use a heat gun and dental floss then tar remover to remove the residue, less likely to scratch the paint than a credit card  :happy2:
