Sorry mate been ages since updated this!! I'm good thanks, how are you?

So I've fitted AP coilovers to the car, new 205/40 profile Pilot Sport tyres, uprated bushes and had the wheel alignment done. Open front fog grills, smooth plate...I think thats it. Maybe a few bits I've forgotten! Bit of carbon film to trim inside.

New to get some new pics

What a great thread, good to see what you have done and very useful information. You're local(ish) to me too. I'm in Brighton but work in Crawley Hospital so up that way 5 days in 7! The guys in Crawley TPS are great, they really helped me out recently with some bits - so friendly, they really know how to look after their customers.

If there are people in the area perhaps we can have a meet up and talk mk5?  My car isn;t up to your standards but shes gives me many smiles per mile

Thanks Molesy. Yes the guys at TPS are great. Due to head back as done 3000 miles since last oil change. Mk5 meet up sounds good to me.

very nice car.

Second set off APs I've had. Had another set on my old red Mk5. Yes they are great for daily driving. I have a 6 year old and he is fine in the back.

Cheers

Looking good Si - glad to read you still have this. How was fitting the front plate print to the US front? Just interested as I have one for mine, and am not sure if to try the vinyl, or to just go with the shortened plate. Looks a fiddly job to get the vinyl right?!

Hi Dave, how are you?

I ended up buying a vinyl and some of that removable stuff. So stuck plate to that then plinth so I can remove. Have a link somewhere.

Must have missed this thread, but that plate rings a bell. Were you on ukmkivs with a silver mk4 by any chance?

I'm good thanks - still have the ED30. Wish I could turn back time as it's coming up to 90k. Love the thing. Lots of projects I want to add to the car - just need the time & ££! My indy said it's one of the better ones they've seen (of course they'd say that when settling the bill...)...
Cheers for the link  :drinking:

Cheers guys. Not much to update really, been cleaning and such as normal. Doing oil and filter every 3,000. Just clicked over the 145,000 mark now. Got a warning light for steering rack torque sensor so have a new rack to fit soon.
