Wow,

Congratulations - a great choice with your new car! Must admit, the Clubsport is the one that I aspire to as my next VW after the ED30 (presuming I stay VW in future!). Look forward to seeing them on the used market in maybe 3-4 years...! Never seen one on the road, but notice a few are now on the dealer network.

So what options did you go with? The bucket seats are simply a must IMHO. The fussy 18" option wheel design isn't my favourite - the standard 18's look good enough to me. A Panoramic roof would be my other wish, and anything else a bonus...!

As said - it'll be a long wait, and hope you still enjoy your ED30 in the meantime!

Went to the golf anniversary thing in milton keynes a while ago.

Got to sit in either the clubsport S or the ed40 - whatever it was it was very nice. Seats are amazing!

Thanks guys looking forward to it is an understatement! 90 days to go!!!
Its a red 3 door manual, and I went with the tech pack for upgraded sat-nav & speakers, rear camera, winter pack, Brescia wheels, and Car-Net.
I ddn't really like the look of the wing back seats, think htye were ok and would have them if they were std, but not fussed enough to pay £1350 for them. Call me odd
Still love the Ed30, wish I could keep both!

Very nice, have you got an unconfirmed build week yet?  I know what you're saying about the buckets, but I have a feeling they could be the extra all the buyers will be looking for when you come to sell?  They're also heated as standard.  Mine's getting built next week.

Hi Trev,

Lucky you!! What spec have you gone for?

Confirmed build date came though the other day. w\c 09th Jan. gettting very impatient!!!

My local dealer had its 2 Clubsport S delivered the other day so I got to go and look at them on Saturday, and sit in one, they are gorgeous, but wouldn't fancy one as an only car - too stripped out.
It did have the bucket seats which were lovely, but I don't think I'd want them long term, also they preclude the front arm rest, which I like. But I know what you mean, like the r32, everyone wants the wing backs!

Cheers!

Jason.

I had to look twice Jason, thought it was a bit early for the airbag to have gone off

More pics ASAP... Hope you enjoy it half as much as I would!  :happy2: A manual fast hot hatch is already nearly a thing of the past  :rolleye:

Hi Jason - 3 door dsg in white with a black roof, sunroof, rear camera, 90% tints, bucket seats, 19" brescias, DCC and a 5 year warranty.  I had to have one as I've had all the editions 20, 25, 30 and 35!  Can't wait.  Cheers.  Trev.
