Hey Fish, I’ve bought it when they had Black Friday sale with 20% off, that helped abit on the budget hehe.

But yeah can’t wait for this to go in the car - hopefully putted together this week. Then I’ll be buying new belts, tension rollers and all that when the engine is assembled  :jumpmove:

FINALLY! I've got my mechanic to help press the new rear main seal back in place using the speciel VAG tool. (He's a VW mechanic)

Now I can get on completing this build and put everything together - Will have some pictures for you Friday  :drinking:

Saw I've now tried to upload some pictures of the engine build a couple times on here without any luck... The site has been giving me some trouble last month or so with sessions running out among other stuff..

If you're on Facebook, then Darkside Developments just posted some of the pictures on the page yesterday. So you'll have to see them on there for now untill I sort out the laptop problems I'm having with the board  :fighting:

Also got a few things incomming....  Hopefully it'll work with the pictures since brakes are almost ready for show, engine is getting more and more complete as the days go - SOON ready for install!

Thank you guys :)

Will post some pictures of the brakes stuff later this week when all parts are collected the different places hehe - Can't wait to have this stuff installed on the car.

Had the wheels and arches of today and tackled the little surface rust I had. Did treat it with some Dinitrol rust protection so the arches are now ready for the brake, hub, spring and dampers to be installed

Clean example you've got here.  :happy2: Your time and effort clearly shows. Loving your interior. Wish I had a Mk6 flat bottom like yours man a lot grippier to hold than mk5s.  :happy2:

Thanks guys :) Finally decided which turbo to go with so now I just need to buy it  :indifferent:    Then hopefully I can book my mechanic to swap out the engine sometime in April and then have it mapped right after, not fan of driving it without having the engine map tweaked to the new parts :)

Will be collecting my front calipers and the painter monday, will post up a picture of the brake parts when I've got everything ready for install

Looks yummy!

Yeah, read alot about upgrading brakes - this setup did however fit my needs the best and was the lightest :)  Big discs looks cool, but also add a lot on weight and since this car wont ever see a track day there's no need for bigger setup to be really effective :D
