Car app
« on: February 17, 2017, 01:47:31 pm »
Our MK7 GTi was bog standard apart from colour so doesn't come with the car app option of running Apple car play. However when trying to access the option in car, it says go to your dealer.

I assume that they all have it and its only coded in or out depending whether the buyer has checked the box, but looks like it can be done retro.

Has anyone done this, be officially through VW or are there coders out there who can do it unofficially, like on BMW's?

Thanks
