Pressure for hpfp

I dont know if this has been covered but after replacing the cam follower on the hpfp how do i get the pressure back up thanks in advance

Open and close the driver door a few times. Then start the car. Ive never had a fuel issue after doing the follower.

And some fuel did spill after i moved the cloth i tried cleaning as much as i can would that affect anything?

Shouldn't do. I am over cautious with these things but better safe than sorry.

When I did mine I left it for 20 mines for the fuel to evaporate off before starting but in theory it should evaporate off once the car is running without getting hot enough to catch alight.

This or turning the ignition on and off a few times usually primes the fuel system.

Alright thanks for that guys but got to admit the banjo bolt is werid to get off but now it being done it doesnt seem that hard

+1 for priming the fuel pump by turning the ignition on/off a couple of time. Remember to give it 10-15 secs in between turning on and off...no point doing it really quick before system has had chance to do it stuff.

Remember not open the drivers door whilst doing the change...dont want the hpfp to prime while you have it in bit!
