Modern Classics magazine ED30 for feature
« on: March 23, 2017, 05:28:35 pm »
Hi there guys, I'm JJ the editor of Modern Classics magazine. We're up near Aberdeen in two weeks and would love to get a Mk5 Golf GTI Edition 30 for a B-road test drive feature. This is a new series of features and will be a large (at least 6 pages) of professional photography.

If you're interested in getting involved, please ensure that the car is standard (or nearly) and we're able to drive the car. We have a £5million PLI in place.

Any interested parties email me at: jj.vollans@bauermedia.co.uk

Not that I live anywhere near Scotland but I wouldn't do it with any of my cars...

Same, unless they're paying I'm the only one that will drive it like Stirling Moss

Would be better if you approached a dealer imo. And asked them to borrow the car for a few hours or so and swing some  ££ their way. Don't think many people on here would let a random person drive their pride and joy 'spirited'

I'm out West in Gloucestershire. I'd have no problem loaning my car. Not much use though.  I like the magazine too :)

I'm with @Rawhide - I'm either in SW London or West Sussex, and would happily loan my Ed30 if this opportunity ever came up in the area. All MCM then need to do is give #1562 a blast from Lavant to Petersfield on the B2141 leading on to the B2146 - absolutely belting.
