Thanks @AJP !

I think the arch screw mod may well take away most of the rubbing. Had a feel under the arch and was surprised how far it protrudes!

So I'll probably do that, and forget rolling the arches.

If it's still an issue, I'll look into camber - but looks like the adjustable top mounts aren't cheap!

A bit of GCSE trigonometry tells me that an extra degree of negative camber would give the top of the tyre 5.5mm extra clearance. I need to check the last alignment, but I have it in my head that the camber is currently -1.0 to -1.3. So going to -2.0 to -2.3; which I don't expect would cause too much of an issue with inside tyre wear.

Then there's the labour of fitting the top mounts, and having to get the car aligned!

It might end up easier/cheaper to sell the BBS wheels and buy some OZ Ultralegerras if the screw mod doesn't do the trick!!

Why is nothing car related straightforward!? All 3 cars at home causing me some kind of problem at the moment!!!

Well if you do things properly (which it sounds like you do) then it's often not straightforward, or cheap.

Fitting some lightweight 8J et45 wheels makes a lot of sense. Arch rolling always seems a bit of a 'last resort' to me. And the camber thing... it's just more cost (and a potentially clunky ride with pillowball mounts).

Priced well, those CH-R will fly out.

Decided to go for the OZ's!

The BBS's will be up for sale soon.

With adjustable ball joints, but without adjustable top mounts, max you will get is -1.5 degrees of camber on the front.
You can get to about -3 degrees on the backs.

Also rolling the arches definitely helps, I had to do it with my show wheels front and back, though there is hardly possible to roll the backs as there is basically nothing to roll!

@AJP link for those wide arches you mentioned on 1st page?

Pretty sure Kerscher also do a set.

25mm extra each side. They'll serve two purposes - getting big brakes in, and... looking badass:

(Although this one needs wider wheels/track)

I have -2 camber on the front with the Superpro ball joints.
That is the max.

Perhaps a difference in ride height explains the 0.5 camber diff?

Yeah no idea how you managed to get -2 degrees on the front, mine ain't going anyway further than -1.5.
As above, maybe difference in ride height, or longer ARB is pushing tyres out a tad more? I still have standard FARB myself.

No idea.
I have subframe deadset kit
Even before H&R roll bars i was able to get nearly -2 degrees.

I think my last alignment showed -2.1 and -1.9 on the front.
i'm getting new tyres so will be aligned again soon I'll share the print out.

I'm lowered but only with H&R springs and i have powerflex press in wishbone bushes (not "anti lift")

A bit late to the party but these Neuspeeds clear pretty big brakes. I've got TTRS calipers here with 370mm discs.

@addictivev8

Got to thank you for the tip on neuspeeds.

I've been onto them about these beauties:

I prefer the design to the OZ's, they come in under 10kg a corner, and they think they'll clear the brakes (going to check against a brake template diagram).

It's a shame I don't have a work trip to NY coming up, otherwise I could bring them back myself haha!!

Got to say I've been impressed with the service from Neuspeed - been very responsive and helpful.

Got this pic from them overnight, the spokes on these wheels are so thin that they clear the brakes by 4-6mm! Loads of room in there!!

I expressed concern about how long Awesome might take to get these, so they're putting me in touch with an international dealer that will ship to the UK. So, as long as lead times aren't crazy, this looks like a winner!

From what they've said, pretty much their entire range has loads of clearance for BBKs - so worth considering alongside side the more well known OZ and Team Dynamics options.

No worries chap, the whole range seems to have brilliant clearance as you say and they're light to boot. Liking the ones you've chosen, will look good against the black paint.  :happy2:

How heavy are the RSE11s?  I've been rubbing my thighs over Neuspeed wheels for a while now.

Awesome only put an international order in once a month apparently, so an alternative importer would be good.
