Looks good! Which catback is this? Sports? Prestige? I assume it is a non-valved version?

How’s cruising sound compared to OEM? Been toying of the idea of a catback recently as I’m happy with the performance of my precat delete, but might like a bit more sound. Mainly worried about the dreaded motorway drone!

Update on the exhaust now it's coked up and more at its permanent note. At 70mph cruising  around 2-3k rpm you can't hear it, if you but the footdown 3.5-4k rpm you'll hear it a bit but nothing that'll deafen. I sit with the radio around 8-10 and don't notice really notice it and i'm looking out for it.

If you're worried about your neighbours they might not like you on coldstart but that's the way with exhausts.

Haven't really been adding to this, I've a couple of updates (pictures to follow);

Added a chrome mirror switch (didn't like the window ones)
Upgraded the Audio system to a mk6 Dynaudio system, along with 2 stage sound deadening (vibration dynamat extreme/dodomat for high pitched noise eg vibration, then closed cell 6mm foam to absorb low frequency noise eg road noise)
Created a custom spare wheel well mat to finish off that area

Bought genuine VW xenons to be retrofitted, waiting until I get auto leveling and washers.
Have highline clocks sitting ready to go in.

I went to Royal Steering Wheels ( http://royalsteeringwheels.com/ ) price varies on what you want, mine was 1mm thicker, 12 o'clock stripe, full smooth leather, red stitch and ended up around £130 mark, wouldn't go 1mm thicker again even though it's extremely comfortable just don't get the oem finish. But I've since changed to a mk6 steering wheel anyway  :signLOL:

A couple of updates;

Retrofitted the mk6 golf Dynaudio sound system along with some sound deadening, definitely miles better than the stock system.

Fitted a mk6 GTI steering wheel;

And then in the pipeline to be done in the new year;

I’ve ordered the headlight washer parts from Volkswagen along with the wiring from Kufatec for the headlight washers and the xenons, so after that I just need to fit an autoleveling kit and the xenons can go on.

Next month due it's service, where it will just be going to Volkwagen. Also would might get the Roller Cam Conversion to eliminate the cam follower issue with the TFSI engine.

Bought and fitted some genuine OEM Led number plate lights, to match the xenons and puddle lights. Will get a picture when it's dark.

Got a set of Genuine open grills and the back covers waiting for them to arrive to see how they look, and ordered some service items ECS Magnetic Sump Plug, Millers Oils Nanodrive 5W30, NGK PFR7S8EG Spark Plugs and the usual assortment of fuel, air and pollen filters.

OEM Leds, need to sort the bright tail lights don’t know why they’re so bright, they’re all halogen which should’t be that bright
