Newbe and my first gti E30 No 0533
« on: October 24, 2017, 11:35:48 pm »
Had to join this Forum to get more info and ideas for the future of my Golf edition 30.

Brought my 2007 Golf gti ed30 no. 0533  last month and seems to be a cared for car from the previous owner.
someone at some point fitted the S3 brakes,  and big 3" stainless manifold back exhaust system, and remap.
don't have any info on the map, but it defo pulls like its running around the 300bhp mark.

plan to get a few things done in the new year, like wheels re-painted and cambelt kit/waterpump.
Just had the thermostat replaced due to it not sitting at 90 on the temp,   common problem,  and runs better now.

The interior is mint,  so nothing to do there,  just want to make it mechanically sound, and piece of mind stuff done.

Did try and find the last owner, but with no luck,  would be nice to know what else he had done to it.

Welcome!

You might want to use a different image hosting site now that Photobucket have screwed everyone over!
