Short shifters
« on: April 22, 2018, 11:57:28 am »
Wanting a short shifter for my gti,but not sure what one to get,
A lot of people say go s3 for a nice tight Oem change but there 46 on dark side and is the difference worth it.
Or there’s one on eBay that’s adjustable for 30 but I had one on my old a3 adjusted all the way but it just made it notchy and I removed it in the end.
I don’t mind the 46 but is it a vast improvement, dose anyone no how much the s3 shifter is at tps

I found the Forge one was too notchy but am happy with S3 plus Darkside solid bushings.  Like others say, it just tightens things up in an OEM fashion and there is no NVH impact with the bushings.
