Brake pedal help

I would like some help with my brakes please. At cruising speed today it felt like my ABS was engaging when I braked. Then 3 yellow lights appeared on dash for about 30 secs.
Is there a sensor in my brake pedal as it doesn’t quite feel right?

My car is a stock 05 GTI DSG
