Smoothing the gti side skirts ready for paint...

Hi guys...

How would i go about smoothing the gti side skirts which i have got but haven’t fitted yet..

Any help would be great... search function in here isn’t working so cant read back as to what people have done before.. :happy2:

Cheers, so sanding wise... just go at it with say an 80 grit sand paper?

Anything like a 180 or 220, or even a 320 would give enough key for a primer on plastic I should think. 80 would remove quite a lot of material so go carefully if you're unsure.
