The very kind @Degudodger dropped round with his VCDS to check an air con fault. Looks like the pressure valve needs replacing. There was also a fault code for a knackered DV. Looks like I have a busy day next Saturday!

swapped grills back to gti ones for a while and removed the lament from the fogs as it was starting to lift

tempted to buy a new smoothed grill in gloss black instead of the matt i have now

Replaced the cabin filter, unreal the amount of debris that fell out of the old one. Had s date stamp of 2011, so had been in there a while. Oh and filled up blank switches near the ask tray with USB and AUX buttons.


So much for keeping it standard!

Red footwell LED lamps, am trying to find just the rears now.

Got a pic? What stereo you using?

Just put the button in mate to fill in the blanks, not connected them as they wont work will my RNS510 DAB. Just didn't like seeing those blank spaces.

I know what you mean about having blanks. Looks good tho! I would be tempted to fuse the USB and wire it up for a charging point?

PPC GB R32 style GTI rear valance finally delivered yesterday, so dropped it off to be painted today.


Full VCDS Hex + Can.

I know my way may be unKool, but I laminated all the interior lights, including the footwells and cargo zone with Red Lamin-x....I left the visor mirror lights as is:
