Text speak isn't really tolerated round here - it only confuses the older members (Red Robin).

i reckon rossi will bag some wins now he's back on his Yam. I don't think he will win the championship but i think he will run either Pedrosa or J-LO close if everyone stays fit and healthy. I have mixed emotions about Moaner not being there, glad the whinging Aussie has slung his hook but sad that now Rossi is back on quality machinery that he can't get in his head again and give him some whuppings  :fighting:

Well gentlemen, The Doctor is back.....in style. Good to see that he hasn't lost the appetite or ambition that won him so many world championships. Roll on Texas  :happy2:

Congrats to Marquez. Youngest ever premier class winner. Took Freddie Spencer's record.
Well done to Cal too. Can't wait to hear god save the queen with him perched on the top step. (Hopefully at Silverstone in Aug).

Marc Marquez's unintentional dismount in qualifying was apparently clocked at 209.9mph.  So he's got his first record - the fastest ever crash in the top class of motorcycle racing.  His airbag suit recorded two peaks of 25g, but the true impact may have been higher - that's as high as the datalogging reads!

I hope he's not the next Simoncelli, but he's (nearly) as exciting to watch.

They're all  :stupid:

Skin graft job i've heard.

He lives about 10 miles away from me. My uncle has done a fair bit of welding for him, mainly pit boards.

Me and my wife drove down to Florence last week in my Audi TTS Roadster. It was one of the best driving experiences I have ever had. After an overnight stop in Dijon, most of the rest of the way was with the top down, via the St Bernard tunnel, lovely weather and stunning scenery. Another overnight in Rapallo and on to Florence to meet up with my son and his girlfriend who came down from Munich, and my daughter and her partner who flew over.

Whilst the intention of this was a stay in a villa in Florence with my family,  the main reason for me was a trip, with my son, to Mugello to watch the MGP. If you are reading this, you will know the results by now. But I would like to say that this is a trip that is well worth doing, both for the journey itself, and the atmosphere at Mugello. :notworthy:

I was as gutted as everyone else there when Rossi crashed three bends in, not the best birthday present I have ever had, but it was a good race anyway, particularly as Lorenzo won. Unfortunate that Marqes crashed whilst in a safe second place, with only a couple of laps to go, but it gave Crutchlow a still well deserved podium. Redding winning Moto2 was great too, in practice one of his pit boards had said "breathe" and in the race it said "want it."  I think he did! :congrats:

Driving, or should that be fighting, with the Italians is an experience itself, it certainly adds spice to the trip. Florence is worth a visit, as is Pisa and Lucca, but, to use the word that the commentator used to describe Crutchlow, MotoGP at Mugello is " fantastico"  If you are a bike race fan, and enjoy driving, this trip is a must. Give it a go.
