Hey guys, us BIALI Boyz are thinking of getting a large joint area for 4 forums and that you might like to be one of them - Sort of like a big square with each forum having a square quarter.

Just an idea at this stage. What do you think?

I personally would rather have our own separate stand, as your bunch of bodgers do all that advertising stuff for other companies, and i wouldn't want to help boost their income without some amazing deals for our forum members.

Just my personal opinion Robin and nothing against you.  :happy2:

....No problem. An interesting viewpoint though. BIALI doesn't exist for any commercial or trade-off reasons.

Btw, the idea was to book a block and for the forums to be neighbours but each keeping their own identity, but it's only an idea and it's up to you guys who run this forum.

Noone cares because its months away! There are many shows to attend before e38, patience my friends!  :P

I've been going since it started, but I have no excuse as its only down the road for me.  Last year there was quite a few MK5s, and I'm sure they'll be even more this year!  In 2003 there were no MK5s, and hardly any MK4s in attendance.  Most dubbers don't buy a new car then spend thousands on it, they wait for them to come down in price first!

Really? why's that then, ya spanner  :P

....Might have been a private plate. For example, if I transferred my 'VW05 RED' plate to a new R20T in 2011.

Robin, sounds not a bad idea. To tell the truth im just looking forward to the show and will go with the flow mate.
I think the main objective is to get a real good turn out for the MK5GTI forum wheather grouped with other forums or stand aloan.

Just my thoughts lads.

As Robin says, it is possible. This is my last baby and the plate was previously on a Mk5 GT TDi and before that a Mk4 R32
It would be on my o6 Candy right now if it were not for a dangerous liaison with an Alfa Romeo  :ashamed:

Yes, I'm just going with the flow too. I emphasise that the idea put forward is only a suggestion that several forums group themselves together physically as neighbours at this show but each maintains its own independent identity and area.

Afterall, many of us belong to more than one car forum and/or have friends on other forums - A show is always an opportunity to socialise and meet new people as well as those we already know, and to share our enthusiasm. I don't know about others on this site but I'm not into rivalry between forums like some puerile football team supporter.

For TC and anyone else who views BIALI as existing to advertise motorsport companies, please read our home page. Our affiliates are merely motorsport companies run by other genuine enthusiasts who also happen to be longstanding friends. Our BIALI image is such that we need to redirect people who come to us thinking we actually do something! - The whole thing is a huge joke and spoof. Besides, the BIALI stand may not be displaying any of its affiliates banners etc at Edition 38 - We haven't decided yet.

Anyway the bottom line is that it's entirely up to this forum how it wishes to display itself at Edition 38. If us BIALI boyz decide to go I'll be with them; If not, I'll be looking for a space on this forum's or on another stand; If there's no stand places for me anywhere I won't bother attending.

I'm just submitting a suggestion, no more and no less, and with no other motives - The rest is up to you guys.

Apparently there's no pre-booking of either club stands or tickets - Just pay on the gate.

^ Plus an indoor area only for Show & Shine.
