Yeah. I was kind of nursing one too until I got to the top of the Cairngorms!!  :jumping:

Hardly anyone on the roads so das GTI got a little workout. Great roads up there.   :driver:

Thats my neck of the woods.  The road from Inverness to Fort William is ace when there is minimal traffic, alot of unmarked coppers around there though.  The bypass from the B9007 from Forres to Carbridge is awesome as well!

Is that just an old lay-by behind the car!. Looks like it could be a lot of fun on that piece of land.  :driver:

Its good watching the Lochs in action at Fort Augustus.  We've been down there a few times now.

Where is this Dam?

The dam is here. ( can't drive over this one) hydro electric built in 1934 by British aluminium

A86, Roy Bridge, Highland PH31 4AR

Just one of the things I stumbled upon. It's really great to just drive and discover with no real plan.

All the roads up there are perfect for the GTI. Not too complex that it shows the chassis weaknesses, but fun and lots of opportunity to stretch it's legs safely. The car performed perfectly, still very much a keeper!

Great pics rich :happy2: one of my favourite places this, I often rent a boat and go through here for a couple of days with family. Fort Augustus is great to watch, but pulling your boat through it with 200 Japanese tourists crowded round is a little tedious. Great place, great car
