A fix would be to fault find the issue so remove the glass put the heated mirrors on in cold weather as I'm not sure they work if it's hot and test the 2 wires on the glass for 12v, if you have 12v the glass is u/s if you don't have it then it's possibly the 5A fuse suppling the door module but you would have other door related issues so probably not this.
