Does the r-tech map get wiped when disconnect battery?

Do you have the option of turning the map off like on the Revo SPS if, for example, the other half was driving it?

What Andy said  :happy2:

I saw on the price list on the R-tech site (map switching) I don't know the method though

Wiper stalk maybe?

I think that method has been patented by APR...

No it doesn't get wiped.

Niki can do all sorts of switching methods. One is WOT and tap the brake (best done in high gear and low revs for obvious reasons)  :happy2:

Pretty cool that you can switch maps with engine still running and driving

Is this the one Niki posted a video of? It was either yesterday or day before, with his new TFSI hardcut (with minor flameage?)

If so it sounded awesome  :driver:

Where the vid at mate?

A little update dropped the car off for a few weeks while I was on holiday.  Niki said to change a few bits to aid flow. So I added a airtech stage 2 intercooler, cts discharge pipe and a cts throttle pipe.

Picked the car up on Monday and what a change. It's hard to improve on what was there but the car is now even more responsive.  And just seems to pull a lot harder to the motor sport limiter. And also my car is the first to have switchable boost maps. Here's how it works. Press the brake pedal with ignition on then press the clutch to select the map ☺☺

Map 1

Map 2

Map 3

Map 4

Map 5

As you can see the Rev counter shows the map you have selected
☺☺☺
