MTEC brake discs
« on: November 02, 2014, 11:43:41 am »
People are always looking for good brake discs as cheap as possible. I had heard mostly good reviews about them but a few bad ones, I took a punt and bought a set of dimpled and grooved for my R32 brake setup and drove 5000miles+ with no problems. I never went on the track but they saw some very hard road use and never let me down. Now I have a set of MTEC Drilled and grooved TTS discs with my 4pot TTRS setup, I have put about 2000miles on them now and again they have done very well and seen some very hard stops (with some quite aggressive pads as well). They are a bit noisy but that's because of the pattern on the discs and the aggressive pads.

For some reason the 340mm ones are listed under TTRS discs, but I bought these ones and they're 340mm.

Good value and not had any issues with these on previous cars. In their early years they suffered from premature corrosion but appears they have rectified this.
