The standard GTI and TT-S engine covers do not foul the HPFP with the AKS roller conversion kit  :happy2:

Motul 300V is a good oil  :happy2:   I've been looking at LiquiMoly Molygen, it's supposed to be a very good oil.  A Millers Nanodrive alternative, but with VAG 502.00 approval, which the Millers does not have

What number do you see in VCDS block 91, or is it 93? Can't remember.  -3KW is about right.

Thank you for your tip. I've finally checked my timing chain with VCDS.  :ashamed:

Happy with the value!

Here's a video explaining how to check if your timing chain has some stretch.

I've gone to another track day in Estoril. I really enjoyed it and the new front brake setup and new suspension parts made a good difference. The track surface was also recently repaved, so it was really nice to drive there. :driver:

Here are some pictures.

I bet those brakes are incredible!  They certainly look the part  :happy2:

-1KW is perfect by the way  :happy2:
Black Edition 30 with manually selected cogs, a beefier clutch, some extra boost and them Whiteline thingies, otherwise standard.

They needed this track day to really get hot enough to reach the full potential. They're very strong indeed, and without activating the ABS too soon.

Thanks Teo!  :drinking: I had the TD refurbished and fitted with teflon spigot rings. The aluminium spigot rings I was using were corroding in the wheel hubs and were a pain to remove when needed.

Good point, I was about to order some...I’ll stick with the plastic ones then.

The plastic ones will melt, I think. At least my brakes get hot enough to melt the wheel covers...

Forgot to mention that previously to this last track day I fitted a SuperPro rear enhancement bush kit (KIT5238RK).

I liked the handling improvement. Everything is very tight now, even on hard cornering. I didn't lose that much ride comfort, fortunately.

Ordered a new IC from do88 because my IAT rised a bit above 50ºC on the last track day with 25ºC of ambient temperatures. I know it's cold at the moment but I preferred to get it now than wait for the hotter weather.

Can't wait to fit it and see if I notice any difference even on cold weather.
