Pffff...it never ends.  :fighting:

Just got this one, was about to take it to the mechanic, one hour drive:

It will not work at all? Or only the cruise control or some functions. As long as the headlights and signals work I'm happy with it.

I've just read that if you do some clever wiring it might work, but the pictures of this thread don't work anymore:

Everything would work except the cruise control, or you can merge wires to pin 10.

Today my mechanic took the control module. He will install it and in case i don't have revision "G" cc stalk he'll merge the yellow wires to pin 10.
The RS4 fuel injectors are in, runner flap delete is done and BOSH 044 lpfp will be ready today also:

My ECU will go today to get the new software. Hopefully the car will be ready for new tests by the end of the week.  :driver:

Unfortunately my ECU was damaged when it was removed.
So the car is still nonfunctional. In the next days, I hope the ECU will be replaced and get the right software.

New ECU and mapping in. The guy doing the remap says the car pulls like a train and the gearbox is lightning fast. But they cannot do some proper runs because it is cold and wet outside and even on 4th gear it cannot put the power down completely.
Can’t wait until tomorrow to get it.
One more issue remains, the CC stalk is dead atm and I have almost no powersteering. Tomorrow I’ll sort that somehow. I hope that the pins beetween the stalk and the cotrol module were not bent.

Thanks buddy!  :drinking:
One more thing...there is a fuel fluctuation, not very bad, but not optimal. I'll replace the RS4 fpr and see.
Now I can left foot brake, the annoying ecu cut was removed.

UPDATE:

I've reinstalled the adjustable droplinks, the noise is gone after softening the suspension.
Seems that the CH steering wheel control module was defective, I'm back on mine now, now everything works again (power-steering, cc stalk) except the paddles.
Today I did a wheel alignment and immediately after the car pulls to the left and ESP is interfering, I had to disable it.
I thought this is because I did a G85 recalibration yesterday (to get the power steering back) with no wheel alignment after installing the AST suspension. I tried to recalibrate G85 control module again, but at some point I did something wrong and now I'm left with this:

Anyway, I haven't bothered anymore with this, I will change the steering wheel control module again in one week so I will have to do it again, I just hope that it will solve the pulling to the left and ESP problem.
In the meantime I left my car at the shop to get a front splitter, rear wing, bonnet/fender vents and rear wiper delete. I've done all this quickly because it started snowing and it was my last opportunity to move it on summer tires.
The new RS4 fuel pressure regulator it is on it's way and I got these thingies:

After installing the third rev CH control module and new CC stalk, I've managed to get the paddles and everything else to work. :fighting:
Now I'm left with errors on cornering lights, which I believe has something to do with the coding since I don't have fog-lights anymore and a gearbox error because I don't have a key locking mechanism when not in "P".
I've installed the extensions also, they look good with the OMP steering wheel:

Another very annoying thing is that I cannot use the quick release anymore and I'm left with a China made steering wheel hub which makes my steering wheel 3-4 degrees to the left. New OMP hub ordered, I hope the Chinese din't do a perfect copy and that's why my steering wheel is not centered.

I've ordered new ATS DTC 8.5J ET35 wheels and now the car is at the shop getting hood vents, splitter, rear wing and wider rear wheel arches to fit the wider wheels. I still have 2x 9J Team Dynamics wheels for the front axle to use with wider tires on very hot weather. Today they got a well deserved cleaning. They were full of melted brake pad materials:

With some patience and a lot of WD40 I managed to get them like this:

Today I've received the new ATS wheels, they look beautiful:  :jumping:

Can't wait to get them fitted, but first we need to make the room:

And I've combined the Passat CC shifter knob with a plastic surround from Altea, the result is pretty good considering that before I have just bolted the Passat surround and it was awful, the holes are still visible:
