Fascia Part Number
« on: December 11, 2009, 05:35:51 pm »
Guys,

I scraped this part of the climate control fascia when fitting my RNS-510.
Is the part number for this fascia plate known so I can replace it at all?

Thanks,
Pete.
Pete

No offence but how the hell did you do that?!?! I'm probably the most cack-handed guy here and never damaged that part of the fascia when fitting my rns?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Hmm, good shout. Where can I purchase such a thing from, any DIY type store or would VW only have a similar colour match?
Cheers Darren  :congrats:

Haha, then I must be more cack-handed SW   :jumpmove:
It can only be from where I rested the RNS to ensure the adapters in the rear were plugged in properly.

Yeh and DIY place mate it might not be a perfect match but for something that small it wont show up.

Yeah I tried that Daz, was a good idea fella but unfortunately I made such a bodge of it that it shows too clearly. I applied it too thick' and hence it looks like a rough finish.

Does anyone have the part number for that fascia/display surround where the heated seats section is please?

Thanks.
Pete

Indeed but I want to avoid replacing the whole lot if I can?

I only need the section highlighted in blue obviously. Does it clip off?

^ Cool, I'll keep an eye out Daz. £115 delivered with the heated seats display isn't bad at all.

Did yours have the winter pack display too for £35?
