"clunk" from offside brake when peddle depressed
« on: July 07, 2015, 05:41:35 pm »
Hi All - a bit of help required... have recently fitted ferodo DS2500 pads all round and I am very happy with them - much better stopping power with a lot less fade...
The issue is they do clunk when I brake and the pad has movement in the caliper (on slight up and down) - Demon Tweeks assure me it is not the pads and my local fitter says all appears to be normal with the caliper etc. but showed me that there was movement with the pad in the caliper very slightly up and down?

Has anyone else experienced this? It is really annoying .....

Thanks!

My R32 does this if I brake while reversing.. I removed the pads and applied some caliper grease to the backs of the pads and the locating edges.. less of a clunk now!
