I'll dig out the part number mate.

Not listed as a repair for the mk5 but the three rings I did change fix the issue.

Yes it's a PITA but nothing you can do about it! It's the handle rattling against the plastic trim on mine.

It's continuously variable. Up to 6.6 bar for the low pressure pump in the tank, and up to 110 bar (standard map) for the mechanical pump.  Completely different to the old port injected engines that had a 3 or 4 bar fixed regulator.

you see so many threads on here about led's for side lights and number plate lights, the mk5 needs to see the proper load of a normal bulb on the circuit, i love seeing can bus friendly written on all the led's as the wattage the onboard resistors have to dissipate will just burn them out in no time.

if you want to run led's you need to put a decent resistor on the wires

I prefer 5w40 oils because they have an higher ZDDP content which protects internal wear. I use them in both my Golfs. Millers Oils CFS 5w40 NT Nanodrive in the Ed. 30.

I completely forgot to take any photos of the valves after I had cleaned them as I was in such a rush to get the car back together before it started raining.

I always thought one of the injectors may have been a little dodgy as the car used to throw out more black smoke than a tuned PD, and it turns out that the spray pattern on one of the injectors was way off. They wer

Understood. I'm hoping because mine is a late 2008 I'll get away with it!

Full BCS Powervalve System with 200 Cell Sports Cat
£750.00
Single Image
    Location: Nottingham
    Collection Only

Purchased brand new and fitted by Nige on 28/10/2015. Full Powervalve turbo back system with 200 cell sports cat.

I have since covered a mere 4k miles in the car with this exhaust fitted (the 4k miles is an estimate as I've owned the car for exactly 2 years now and have covered a total of only 9k miles in the car since my 2 year ownership). Hence the exhaust is in excellent condition.

I paid £1356 for it fitted and will include the receipt in the purchase.

I am looking to exchange it for a standard GTI exhaust with cash on top. All serious offers will be considered. The swap over can be done in Nottingham or the surrounding areas and the cost of removing both exhausts and refitting them would have to be shared (this is on top of the price we agree on the exhaust).

I am going back to standard as will be selling the car soon.

I am struggling to upload pictures on here, so if anyone wants to see pictures, then please text me on 07980 593 544 and I will what's app you or send you an email.

Notes:

MOT advisories: Noted wear to bushings caused by coilovers being installed on the vehicle when purchased. These have now been removed and standard suspension fitted. No bumps/knocks are present on the car; suspension feels perfect; no concerns from the garage in regards to this.

      The not so good:
Light paint scratch to o/r bumper (see picture) happened in a car park with no cctv. Bumper is perfect apart from this and no structural damage. I haven’t got the cash to get this repaired so it is reflected in the price with everything else.

Hoping to sell to an enthusiast from the forum who will continue to look after the car. It runs and drives perfectly and will do for a long time. These cars are special as we all know. Price is listed at offers around £6,000 but happy to discuss anything. If I had the finances I would fix the small issues and list it higher but my budget is tight.

I am as honest as possible with the condition of the car, I would not want to waste someones time with the travel and expenses that come with looking for a car. Ask me any questions you've got and I will update the thread as I think of anymore information.

I am currently away from home for the next week, photos taken by a family member. Let me know if there is anything else you would like to see and I’ll try and get them taken or I will when home.

*We live on a new estate were it is impossible to keep the cars clean, haven’t moved since last washed 2 weeks ago, dirt in pictures is dust.

      Thanks for looking

Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Black Edition 1.2 TSI, 5 door, 64reg, 16k miles, 8 months warranty
      £8300.00
      Location: ferndown, dorset
      Collection Only

This is the last of the line special edition Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo 'Black Edition'. It has the 1.2 TSI petrol engine with manual gear box and is a 5 door metallic black hatchback. Registered in November 2016 it is a 64 registration plate. Owned from new and has only done 16 thousand miles. Tax costs just £110 a year and for me averages 40-50mpg. It still has 8 months manufacturers warranty and breakdown cover left, so peace of mind can be assured! Tyres have plenty of tread left. Engine has a cam-chain not belt, so it wont need changing. Includes rubber floor mats and carpet mats too. Rear seats never used. Run almost exclusively on Shell V-power fuel. Comes with service history and has been serviced by a V.A.G specialist. Some of the main features include:

      Heated seats

      Sports seats

      Sport suspension

      Air-con

      DAB radio

      Bluetooth

      Touch screen display

      Sat-nav

      Maxi-dot multi function computer

      Cruise control

      ABS

      ESP

      Airbags

Red stitched leather wheel, gear knob and handbrake

      Tinted windows

      17" black alloys

      Heated electric mirrors

      Front armrest

      Metal pedals and footrest

Monte Carlo badging and metal door sill plates

      De-badged rear

      Full size alloy spare wheel

      Pressed metal numberplates

It is in good condition and has been well looked after. A lovely little car that runs well, looks great and is surprisingly nippy for a small engine! Was intending to keep it for a long time, but unfortunately back problems have made me prematurely change to an automatic car.
A great buy for somebody, just needs a good home to go to!
Please be aware that if you want a test drive I will need to see an insurance document to show you can drive other cars. Also I will require cash payment that we can pay into my local bank together.
