Re: Death of Policy Holder - Named Driver

Sorry to hear about the death of your father.  As to car insurance, normally the policy will come to an end on the death of the policyholder, so strictly the car will now be uninsured.

I fully understand why you do not immediately want to deal with your fathers estate, but it would be useful to speak to the insurers now.

Open and close the driver door a few times. Then start the car. Ive never had a fuel issue after doing the follower.

This or turning the ignition on and off a few times usually primes the fuel system.

How many miles on the car?  It's more likely to be an injector than coils tbh, but by all means try a set just to be sure.

Would just amping the stock speakers be an option worth exploring and would this result in much of an improvement? RNS-amp-OEM speakers? Is there a special adapter needed to connect the RNS to an amp? Thanks

FWIW, I've tried aftermarket Bosch and dealer supplied ones and the dealer ones, surprise surprise, last longer and don't judder half as much when they approach the end of their service life.

Money refunded this morning by Alex when VW were able to extract a different code form the unit itself.  :happy2:

Remove the plug off the n205, vvt solenoid, sometimes the plugs wear and pulls oil up into the electrical connector. Had this on a number of vehicles i have done now with those faults.

I've got my car on AutoTrader currently.

It's the fourth time I've used it and the previous three have all resulted in a sale from the listing.

The reason I always use AutoTrader is because its the first place I, and almost everyone I know goes to when looking for cars to buy.

It's only for the more specialist car's most of us venture onto forums a

Just to clarify for the camshaft adjustment, the actual should fluctuate between +1kw and -1kw of the specified. For AXX the specified is 24kw so the actual should be between 23 & 25kw. Every other engine code (BWA, BYD etc.) the specified is 28kw so the actual should be between 27 & 29kw
