Forge engine caps
on May 20, 2018, 04:46:40 PM
Anyone know where I can get these caps in chrome? I saw them a few years back before I got my Edition 30 but I've spent weeks looking for some and can only find ones for the mk7 GTI.

Any help appreciated.

Same as above.

Tank was about £90 from VW. I think others have gotten much cheaper Chinese clones from eBay that do the same job. Up to you.

Interesting - hadn't thought of an FM transmitter! I had something similar years ago and it was a bit crap, but no doubt they've improved since then.

I'm also thinking of swapping the 6CD Changer for the iPod dock and putting a bluetooth receiver on that? Has anyone done this successfully?

I don't know. It's a more modern looking car although the hardware is just the same but with AWD? I wouldn't as it wouldn't feel special enough for me to spend more money over the ED30, but I guess the Audi could be seen as more 'grown-up'.
I keep wondering about changing mine as it's on 92k now but I can't find anything to replace it with its features & power without spending

I have same issue!.

Buy a small piece of perspex from eBay, and stick it to the back side of the crack using weatherproof sealant - I'm looking at sikaflex 512 caravan, which looks to be good for -60!

Hi Teo,
I'm getting ready to build a race car and wanted to know why did you swap the manual box for DSG? With the exact same config was the DSG any faster around the track?
I need to choose which gearbox and most of the Gti circuit racers in the UK have gone back to manual from DSG.

Did no one go to the show. Not surprised as it was very quiet
Hi mate I went on Saturday, if I'm honest I found it equally disapointing. I arrived about 11 and left by 2, I probably walked around the show at least three times whilst I was there.

What’s the best oil to use?

Was wondering what’s the best oil I should be using in my car.
I’ve got a mk6 gti stage 1 Apr & DSG remap.
