Title: Warning lights on dash
Post by: Ria73 on September 25, 2017, 06:58:54 pm
Hi All, i have a Golf GTI mk 5
Please can anyone help? I keep getting warning lights coming up on the dash
The ABS, tyre pressure and ESP
Was coming on intermittently bit doing it more often usually just when I'm driving doesn't seem to be any reason for it, struggling to get diagnostic done as once engine is turned off they all reset, any ideas please?
Thanks

could be a abs sensor fault. won't matter if the light / s have gone out. A scan with VCDS will still show a issue, and which one it is. usually a rear abs sensor issue points to a wheel bearing on its way out. sensors can be had a few a quid if you want to try that first. But have a scan done before that

Hi guys c.grex and Golfman 16 wanted to say thanks, had diagnostics done
The faults found were rear wheel bearing and my ABS sensors unfortunately on both sides, gonna cost me a few quid  😒
