Title: Fuel Pressure regulator Question
Post by: Alex BC on February 11, 2018, 09:57:48 pm
Hello!

Quick question to one of you amazing bunch about my fuel pump,

little back story, car recently went tits up EPC light and engine management light came on as well as going into limp mode plugged her in and got codes P2294 1/2 and 2/2 so took a look at the fuel pump and low and behold my loose engine cover has cracked a plastic sensor looking part on top of the fuel pump.

now after some digging it looks like you cant buy that part separately and have to buy a complete pump.

Now my question is, if i was to buy second hand pump could i remove that part from one pump and fit it to the one installed on my car.

now obviously attaching some images to this would be ideal but i dont actually know how to do this...

thanks in advance :)

It's probably easier just to change over the complete pump tbh.

Unscrew old sensor with wrench and install new one, that is it...much easier than changing the whole thing
