Title: Traction control light permanently on - MOT coming up

Hello, my traction control light has come on permantly? Any ideas on a quick fix? MOT in 2 weeks. Recently had a front D/S tyre fitted? Thanks any help would be grateful!

Quick fix? How about fixing it properly? You need to get the fault diagnosed which means a code read at a minimum..... and go from there. If the light came on at the same as the tyre was fitted then it's possible the ABS sensor or wiring was damaged

Is it traction light or tyre pressure monitoring light?

is the ABS light on as well as traction must be abs ring or wire damage

If it's the 'tyre' icon, you probably just need to press and hold the 'SET' button to reset the rotational circumference differences because of the new tyre (ABS ECU thinks you've got a flat).

If it is the 'skidding car' icon, that will need some investigation.  Need to get it scanned as already mentioned.
