Title: High line cluster: audio/navigation, revo sps pro
Post by: phas3r on October 27, 2018, 08:52:25 am
Finally got my hi line fitted into my mk5, but cant access phone menu (it skipped) and audio and navigation are nowhere to be found. Should they be available by default? Im thinking of adding revo sps pro to the car, will that fix it?

You wont see phone menu on red dash unless you fit polar fis bluetooth or polar fis advance adapter. New bluetooth modules don't support red dash. For audio and navi you need to code the unit.

How can i code the unit?

Just change a coding of unit with any  vw tool.

Can code it to display audio and nav, BAP coding on or off.
...but then you'll lose the convenience menu, and live it
(annoying but once you've setup convenience, never really change them).

I have a polarfis advance plus somewhere, pf03 kessy, which I'd part with.

No VCDS but can get to the nearby place for it.
I am alright with losing convenience menu i guess. Cant do much with it. Just comfort, units, winter tires, language i think. Not much to change.
Any steps with the BAP coding? Hopefully with audio i can switch tracks by steering wheel

Im not from the uk.

Based on google searches, going to VCDS>navigation 37>coding 07>long coding helper>disable BAP should do the trick

tried it but no difference. did i miss anything ? is it possible to simply a copy a similar long coding from someone who are able to access the audio & navigation bits.

Theme changing has nothing to do with the sound, change the coding for the amp.

Thanks all. It was indeed the BAP coding need to be disabled.
Just that i did not restart the RNS correctly before.

Next one is to make the sps pro work.
