Porsche 911 Turbo nqsbbk four pots with pagid pads as I don't know if they make fast road pads for these. Work great but could be better

I managed to bag myself a stainless steel Rolex Daytona about 4 years ago at just over list price. A new version was launched about a year ago and the old version shot up 20% overnight for a nice used one

Unfortunately the wait for a new one is stretching to many years unless you are VERY well connected

Agree that stainless Rolex’s are the way to go

Can't update build thread?
Last Poster: Adam0604 in Testing and Forum Suggestion Box on Yesterday at 09:42:09 PM
Everytime I try to update my build thread with a new reply it just says "Hmm .. we can't reach this page".

Same thing happens on IE and Google Chrome.

Is it just because my thread hasn't been updated within the last 90 days or something?

Really pleased this has been asked and the above has been posted.

I'm struggle to consider ED30 replacements, with being 6ft 4" and now having family, will in time have another baby, so need to future proof.

Octavia seems to be the option that I personally keep coming back to because sadly the mk7 just doesn't give me the rear space or the boot space.

Re: Low knocking noise - any suggestions?
Last Poster: AndyTFSI in Mk5 General Area on Yesterday at 08:48:56 PM
I to have this same noise on my edition 30 and its done it ever since I bought it. I've now covered 30K miles and the noise hasn't got any worse but it is a little annoying. I've had 2 different mechanics which I trust try the car and they have both said that its a common noise on cars with the 2.0 TFSI engine and manual gearbox, they both said not to be concerned. Worth a punt, do a battery reset. Disconnect your battery, leave lead off for a couple of minutes and re-connect. Solved the wife's Tiguan doing pretty much the same as you're describing. All fuses were good etc on checking, coincidentally my pal had the exact same on his Touran (under warranty) and when he took it to dealer this is what they did.

Yes agree here - an injector  misfire. Mine did the same at idle after parking up for 10mins.

Yeah, they can go only go in one way.  If they are genuine Xenons and not Chinese fake D2S bulbs, then something isn't right.

The MAF and cam sensor have both played a big part in the power delivery, smoothness, consistency and economy of my car.  Neither were fault coded.   The Cam sensor was covered in engine swarf and the MAF sensor to all intent and purposes looked absolutely fine, but it wasn't because shoving a new one in completely changed it's character for the better!

It seems to me th

I've seen a 5 door black Pirelli driving around Colchester during lunchtimes quite often.   Never seen 2 in the same spot before though!

Nice courses at SBY.  Me and a mate did both 18 hole courses back to back once, pretty tiring

Re: S3 brake upgrade, what's discs and pads?
Last Poster: jason_rmh in Mk5 General Area on Yesterday at 09:50:14 AM
It is quite difficult to warp brakes these days.
A run out gauge is the only real way to tell, as judder can be caused by all sorts of things, giving the same symptoms.

I fitted mtec drilled / grooved 345mm on my fronts back in September.

This past few weeks I started to get brake judder, only when braking.

I jacked the car up, spin the wheels

Re: Cruise control not working (mystery)
Last Poster: RetroRaz in Mk5 General Area on Yesterday at 09:02:43 AM
If you've got a standard GTI steering wheel shouldn't the coding value for the wheel be (1) not (0).

was jut going to point that out as well. lol  Try changing coding to 0001042
