Title: LC9Z Paint
Post by: Cadders96 on December 14, 2016, 09:16:52 am
Not too sure if if this is the right place for the post. Anyway, I am looking to get LC9Z Paint for a air compressor paint spray gun, I can only find the rattle cans from Halfords and would rather the paint. Looking to spray my standard GTI lower bumper to be colour matched. Also any recommendations for a clear lacquer as well and primer. Any tips would be helpful as well. Thanks

where you from mate? You probably want 250-500ml of basecoat solvent paint. I would definitely recommend an etching plastic primer and a 2K clear coat. I work for a paint and panel factors so give me a shout if you need anymore advice. Cheers Adam

Wiltshire. Okay that's great thanks, know where I can get these haha? If it all goes well might do my bonnet in February/March time as it has a lot of stone chips on.

What would be the total price? Also how many layers of primer, basecoat and clear coat would you recommend?

Try a local motor factors as mine has a paint shop and they mix to your colour, used mine a few times and the match is superb just give them the code and they may have some stock premixed if there a reasonable stockist :)
