Anyone any suggestions, please?
Our house is directly south facing, and no matter what I try, the windows dry off too quickly in the sunshine, leaving awful smears. I've tried:-
- White vinegar
- Newspaper
- Window cleaning sprays
- microfibre cloths
- Special window cloths
Nothing seems to work, and it's a real pane (pain, ha ha), showing up in the sunshine.
Not tried old fashioned Windowlene, not sure if you can get it now - the pink stuff that dries to a white powder
Any bright ideas, please?
Ta

Windolene cream is available from B&Q or Robert Dyas. Highly recommended. :happy2:

Clean them first thing in the morning or last thing at night once they have cooled down

Hot soapy water and a squeegee worked best for me. I found it's the cloths that tend to cause smearing.
