Recently been working away in Norwich which isn't too far from where @Eddie-NL  is based, so I took the opportunity to take my car up to him along with some High-line clocks I've had kicking around for about a year!

Within half an hour he had me all coded and fitted which I was well impressed with!

I didn't have all the correct bits to get the MFSW working with it at all but sure as anything Eddie had sent me the links for all the parts I needed before I even got back to my hotel!

All been ordered and thanks for you help mate!

Ben!:
Blimey what happened to that tyre!? Looks like it was rubbing on something? Have you driven a gti? Just wondering what your 200hp feels like compared to a gti's..

Regarding the tyre Hit a pothole at 4.30am... didn't realise damage was done untill a good mile or so down the road  :ashamed:

Unfortunately I've never driven a standard GTI so I can't compare the two!

A little update on fitting my MFSW, after visiting eddie I had ordered all the parts to make my Highline work correctly..

I ordered a new steering wheel which I didn't want but I needed the buttons from it, I ordered a new Highline control module and I've ordered a wiring loom from China.

I couldn't find a MFSW non DSG and flat bottom so I decided to butcher my current one to work...

When I bought it.

The wheel I bought which had the buttons fitted, also used this as a template for my Frankenstein.

A picture showing half the cutting process completed, doesn't look pretty but the button and holder fits in really well so far.

The carnage

Fitted, these are not the buttons i am going to be using but was using these as a guide to whether or not it would all fit together!

How i'm running around untill my wiring harness arrives...

Ben!:
Must have been a bad pothole, unlucky! I know some people manage to get damage paid for by councils if caused by damaged roads, might be worth a try.
