Hi! anyone managed to update Bluetooth firmware to 4.0?

I know this thread is old, but the software won't auto update if it's already on the latest version.

Bluetooth Software Update - version 4.0
Navigation Software - verion 2.52

I just put the 2015 maps from the google drive upload and it works fine for me.

I'm going to test tomorrow with the latest maps from http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ using osm_generic_gmapsupp.zip and the newer style

Both files work fine from a SDcard formatted with fat 32.

It's much faster, tho i'm unsure if that is the SDCard as it's a class 10, or the maps are smaller in size (the inbuilt is europe where as these maps are just UK)

I've just bought a car with this Kenwood in, and it has very old maps.
When I wanted to update them, I found that both Kenwood and Garmin dont support it anymore :confused:
But I see there is hope, unfortunately Im not good at it, so I need to have it step by step as a kid with no references :)
I have, not quit sure how, updated the software to vers. 1.4.0
I cant get the BT updated, and if I download the maps from "open..." to a SD Card, nothing happens when I start it up, and it still only have the Garmin EU 2010?

My data at the moment:
Kenwood DNX520VBT
Multimedia Software Update - version 1.4.0
Bluetooth Software Update - version 3.60
Navigation Software - version 2.20 (I think...)
Map version - CN Europe NT 2010.20
SD Card - ScanDisk Extreme Plus 32Gb HC1 V30 U3 A1

I would like to have maps from 2018 or newer, if possible.
First plan was a RDC-330/360 from Aliexpress, but a friend said that it would give me more problems, than just using Google maps on my phone.

Hope you can guide me...

i also dont know for sure that is the only thing malfunctioning, it is just the most noticeable

by the way, it was having issues with the sub before i messed with anything
