There are plenty of other cameras that can be used on the after market head units or with the RNS-510 by purchasing an expensive adapter from Kufatec, have a look at Hurdy's build thread for his camera on the Kenwood Double Din Headunit  :happy2:

The Kufatec IMA adaptor is rubbish, it doesn't always know that the car is in reverse, and when it does it spends the rest of the time saying that the camera isn't available at this time. If found it was working ok when I stopped for petrol, after filling up it would almost always say it wasn't available

I will update the thread properly in the next few days, but here is the revised setup for the drain tube to prevent the water building up in the boot or tailgate. Thanks to StokeBalloon for the heads up on this  :happy2:

Remove the plastic bung (which will be painted over) directly below on the badge in the tailgate and feed the drain tube up into the tailgate. (very tight fit)

Using a 6mm tube connector

I join the Drain tube to some 5mm clear tubing

And attach to the outlet on the bottom of the badge

I also tied off the tubes with some cables ties too.

Any water will now run directly from the badge onto the top of the bumper  :happy2:

SteveP, where did you get the extra parts from?

SteveP:
^^^ For anyone I have installed the kit for I will happily post them the extra parts for the drain tube FOC  :happy2:

What a great setup this is!!
Would love to be able to hook something like this up to the Kenwood unit i've got in the car
