Clutch help
Gaz:
I would always recommend keeping your Dual Mass Flywheel for a daily driver.
Ive tried and tested Helix clutches on stage 2 cars inc Quattro where they get a harder life. I can now get them at good prices too. They are great, but always expect a harder pedal due to heavier clamping spring force.
MC71:
I had a new OEM DMF fitted along with a new Organic Helix clutch on my Eddy when I went stage 1.5 and it's been beeter than great over the past few years with my Stage 2+ Map. I can't recommend that combo enough. Pedal feel is great, only a touch stiffer at first but VERY soon felt like a OEM feel pedal.
It's the best combo there is for fast road (or occasional track) use there is IMHO. Mine stage 2+ Map was initially mapped to over 420ft lb and this combo clutch/DMF was still holding strong before being brought back to within my requested limits.
Speak to Alex at AKSTuning as he usually has the Helix clutches in stock (although he sells out quickly) and probalby can't be beaten on price for supply or supply/fit.

Lyall:
I'm not bothered about about feel just so it can handle stage 2 really , but I will go with dual mass and helix when I make the jump for it .
Cheers for clearing it up folks :happy2:
LVS Racing:

More expensive than what he can get a Helix kit and flywheel for. By around £130 ;)
