no oil presure light

hi, I have a 2011 Scirocco 2.0 TSI. My dash isn't showing the oil pressure light at any time, I suspected a faulty sensor so replaced that, still no light !  I have had a look in the Haynes mk5 golf manual, it says the cluster cant be repaired - I was thinking the bulb could be blown but think it could be a LED instead of a bulb.
Has anyone had this problem, or know if it is possible to dismantle the cluster, and does it have bulbs or LEDs ?
 help !
