Chris92:
Hi people,

So after a few years on this forum I some how managed to keep my old mk5 gti standard, well apart from a boost gauge and pre cat delete. I got rid of that with the intension of getting a mk2 focus rs which I didn't in the end and then within around 6 weeks of getting rid of my 1st mk5 gti I bought another one  :rolleye: this time it wasn't staying standard

So I've been really busy with it since I got it doing all the maintenance stuff and a odd mod.

I've done:
Timing belt, water pump, aux belt
Flushed all old coolant and replaced with genuine g13
New oil pick up pipe, ECS magnet sump plug
Full service
Cam follower
Rev g DV
R8 coil packs
Boost gauge, apr boost tap
Fitted my 18" monzas what I had from old car.

ECS sump plug

Boost gauge

Boost tap

Car need a deep clean inside when I have time as it's been neglected as I've been doing all the above and slowly panel by panel machine polishing it as it's really swirly  hopefully have all the paint corrected before my winter detail, times ticking! Just trying to get it up to my standards.

Couple of pics of how it's looking, looks and drives much better on the 18" monzas

Chris92:
So the other day this arrive, ceramic revo intake

And today I finally had a chance to fit it. This is my first real performance mod ever, hopefully many more to come   :happy2:

This is what i have and will always think of the stock airbox, I hate removing it.

And mod complete  :driver:

Wasn't sure when I first took it out for a spin earlier but after a short journey I love it  :driver: I followed the intrusions perfect but still had a few washers left and a bracket left also missing a bolt to screw the bracket onto the battery tray, anyone else found this with their revo intake or have I cocked up?

Andy:
About time you got a build thread Chris :happy2:

I was on the fence! But that's convinced me to get a camcoat!  :happy2:
