Oil logo keeps displaying in clocks, GT TDI 2005

Yes the oil is a yellow light. I have looked on the net and people are saying new sensor or could be the bonet switch sticking.

Also do you know why my clock and not holding the memory. The trip and clock keep resetting every time I pull the key out ?

Theres a coolant temp sensor on the right hand side of the cylinder head above the gearbox, the bottle is only level sensor.

Had this a couple of times with my oil Jetta which turned out to be a faulty bonnet catch. Try cleaning the catch with WD40 and a tooth brush to clean the microswitch :)
