Thanks buddy

And everything is now here lol. My hard pipe induction kit, heatshield and my discharge/turbo outlet pipes.

BigA91:
So last night, I went over to my mates house as I was planning to install the intake. I was almost there, until I came to the remove the pipe off the turbo and I didn't have bigger pliers. What I need was water pump pliers, however being late at night almost 2, I decided to do my plugs instead. I'm so glad I did the spark plugs as the tips were slightly white on the tip (lean?). The plugs were replaced with BKR7IEX and the difference was noticed right away. I use to have slight hesitation before when trying to fire, however with the plugs replaced, the car fires immediately in a healthy way without no lumpy idle post ignition.

One of the plugs that came out

So this morning this happened
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pre assembled the intake prior to installing on the car as I had a better idea in situ

The hardest bit of the intake was installed. The factory clip that comes on the turbo-intake hose was such a PITA! That was the only reason why I gave up last night as I didn't have the right pliers and it was so far back, its almost impossible to access.

Done

HOWEVER!

The ramair filter I have, has a rubber neck which causes it slightly bend when installed onto the last pipework. So what I did was, I left out the last pipe and installed the filter onto the last metal bit. Pros wise, it looks like its almost near the factory airduct so could be better? but, it looks a bit weird as its not fully there lol.

Last bit of pipe remaining

^^ you'll know what i mean

How it sits currently

I think I need to either get a new plastic neck or metal neck induction kit. ITG have one but around £79!!

There doesnt appear to be a gap on that spark plug so i should think that was the reason for the slow start on the most part.
