I will leave it then. If it is the DMF could this cause other problems or will it just get noisier/rougher then fail?

This vibration/noise is not sitting well with my OCD. Is there any way to know 100% if its the DMF? Seen a vid where they take the starter motor off and check for play.. see video below.

Can i DIY the DMF?  :scared:

Thanks mate i may take the starter motor off and see how much movement is there.
