buying a inverter

Andy:

My car doesn't get used much now and so the battery goes flat eventually and where my garage is there is no electricity.
I was wondering if I could buy a 12v to 240v inverter of which I would power of my snap on battery jump pack,but if it is possible which amp one do i go for
