Got a problem with my brother in laws renault scenic 2002 1.9 dci ran out of fuel and now not starting?.
Did tt tart but once turned off it wouldn't start after about 30 minutes and does this always. someone tried to bleed it but was unable to do it.
The fuel filter has 5 pipes going to it so I'm clueless as where to bleed it from  :stupid: I looked and didn't even bother as I haven't a clue.

Wouldn't you crack an injector nut? This is what i did on the beater after replacing a gasket in the injector pump.

I haven't tried that as the car is now in the garage but the guy said the fuel pump maybe packed up but I'm finding it difficult to believe that as the car was starting okay for the first time and then only after turning it off it wouldn't start.

It all began when his son the twirp took the car out and ran it out if diesel. Green flag came out and got it running after a bleed but the car only starts first time and then it won't start for at least 30 minutes.
Now that they tried to bleed it. it has caused it to not start at all.

My fuel pump was leaking and letting air into the system so it would be hard to start if left standing for a long time. In theory i would have thought if its just been started it should start nicely as there should be no air in the system.

I've checked for leaks but all dry.

I'm going to the garage now to see what he says.
