Engine mount removal help

It will come out even if you have the one piece belt cover like i did. I replaced with a two piece cover to make it easier next time.

iirc left hand side of the mount comes out first.

I suspect you have not raised it enough. Also i repositioned the jack at one point as the engine was moving back too much.

Much more space to work in than the tt that's for sure.

The mount it very tight if you have a one piece cover hence they changed it to a two piece.

Mine has a smaller top piece and a larger bottom piece. Both a pain to remove, is that the easier two piece kit? I'm quite tempted to take it to my local stealer and throw some cash at them to do it and warrant the work. I still have to strip the engine and all mods from my previous car to sell.
Need more time!!!

The one piece has a window like this.



The two piece has no window and splits just below the tensioner.
