Is that 5 times really true or can we just put some fresh Loctite blue on the threads

I wouldn't see an issue with loctite :happy2:

Hi update on my retrofit!
I changed over the control module CH one, and also mf botton airbag wire.
I got the 3 yellow lights and I tried to code it and nothing is working, even the horn dosent work! Do I need a different slip ring?
Will try to code it again tomorrow.
I have s 06 gti manual, high line display. Rns510 also fitted

What code have you entered in? I think all GTI's had a type 2 slip ring so you should be ok. Sounds like a coding issue

Is it a mk5 wheel with a loom part number starting 1K0, or a mk6 wheel with a 5K0 loom?
