WaLLeMs:
Hey guys,
I been put through solicitors to help with my claim to Thomson however i just dont understand what this means
"The success fee is based on the following percentage increase
100% on a single stage success fee
berg:
Speak to the solicitor at Thomsons.
Following the implementation of LASPO Act (2013) success fees can no longer be recovered from the losing party, so the Claiamnt no longer gets a free lunch if your solicitor is acting for you under a "no win, no fee" agreement. Clearly, the success fee wont be 100% and the CFA should probably have been re-drafted.
Success fees in personal injury claims are capped at 25%, so now if your example your claim is worth £3000.00 you get £2250.00
