My mates had one since new in 2009. Never had a single issue with it.

But lots of other people have had oil consumption and blown engines.

Used to own one myself. Very quick cars. Mine burnt about a litre of oil to every 1k miles.

However the engines are not very strong what so ever. Infact they revised the engine from the CAVE engine to the CTHE. CTHE is meant to be stronger with less problems re-occuring. IIRC they started producing this engine from 2012 onwards.
